Dr. Jason Vasser-Elong, Ed.D.

Dr. Jason Vasser-Elong [Vassir--Eh-long] is a professor of English and African American Studies. He is an applied - anthropologist with a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a concentration in African Diaspora studies. As an interdisciplinary scholar, Jason's research analyses abolitionist pedagogy and the epistemology of black experiences.

Dr. Elong is also the owner and operator of j.Nicholas & Company, LLC., a literary arts collaborative.
